QLD - Government Funding Opportunities

 

There are currently a number of funding opportunities to allow your business to train staff at ZERO cost or LOW cost to gain a National Recognised Qualification.

 

1. Manufacturing Skills QLD PPP Funding. This funding is only available for limited classes starting October and November 2011. This funding is available for staff and business owners in the Queensland Manufacturing Industry this includes the Glass and Glazing sectors.

Certificate IV Frontline Management: upfront $600 (normally $3500-$4000)

Diploma of Management: upfront only $600 (normally $3500-$4000)

Diploma of Project Management: upfront only $1136 (normally $3500-$4000)

2. New Entrant & Existing Workers Traineeship. This funding covers 100%+ of course costs, but there are some eligibility criteria (e.g. business owners are not eligible for this funding)

3. Experience Plus: This funding is available to those 50 years and older. This funding also covers 100%+ of course costs.
