TAS - Government Funding Opportunities
There are currently a number of funding opportunities to allow your business to train staff at ZERO cost or LOW cost to gain a National Recognised Qualification.
Tasmanian Government has recently announced a significant increase to their funding for staff training through the release of PPP Funding. Tasmanian members are eligible to apply for this funding! The Productivity Places Program (PPP) Funding is a joint Australian and Tasmanian Government initiative that provides significant cost savings for staff training - SAVE up to 90% on course costs.

Certificate IV in Customer Contact
Certificate IV in Small Business Management
Certificate IV in Business Administration
Certificate IV in Business Sales
Certificate IV in Frontline Management
Certificate IV in Project Management
Diploma of Business
Diploma of Business Administration
Diploma of Management
Diploma of Project Management

1. New Entrant & Existing Workers Traineeship. This funding covers 100%+ of course costs, but there are some eligibility criteria (e.g. business owners are not eligible for this funding)
2. Experience Plus: This funding is available to those 50 years and older. This funding also covers 100%+ of course costs.
3. User Choice (New Entrant): Courses under this funding attract an upfront employer contribution of only $950. This funding can be used in conjunction with other funding types to maximise your training budget.
