WA Funding Opportunity

29/11  There are currently two funding opportunities to allow your business to train staff at ZERO cost or LOW cost to gain a National Recognised Qualification.

The WA Government has recently announced the release of the $4000 Existing Workers Traineeship Funding for limited Business Courses. The good news is, if you/your staff are eligible, this funding will cover 100%+ of course costs.

WHAT COURSES ARE AVAILABLE?

AGGA's preferred supplier Upskilled can deliver a range of Business and IT Certificate and Diploma courses. Full details on each of our courses included locations, start dates and course materials can be found on their website (http://www.upskilled.com.au/). Courses currently attracting funding in Western Australia are:

• Diploma of Management
  Course Info: this is an excellent general management qualification encompassing HR, OHS, Customer Service, Project Management and more.

• Certificate IV Occupation Health & Safety
  Course info: a very relevant course given the introduction of the Harmonisation Legislation in 2012.

1. WA PPP Funding: selected courses are available under this funding and typically attract an upfront payment of $1550 (reduced from $3500). Limited funded training places available.

2. Experience Plus: This funding is available to those 50 years and older. This funding also covers 100%+ of course costs.
